A shaker generates vibrations and is therefore subject to wear and tear. To ensure optimal operation of the shaker, moving parts must be replaced regularly. It is essential to conduct periodic inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, extend the lifespan of your installation, and prevent unexpected repair costs. ENMO has the necessary expertise and experience to handle both shaker installation and maintenance. With proper use and timely maintenance, high reliability of both the shaker and the test setup can be ensured.
Maintenance
Because a shaker draws in air, dust enters the system, which accelerates the wear of moving parts. During preventive maintenance by ENMO, the entire shaker is disassembled, and all mechanical parts are thoroughly inspected. Any worn parts are replaced in consultation with the customer. Routinely worn parts are replaced, while other moving parts are cleaned and checked for wear or cracks. After the inspection, the shaker is reassembled and checked for proper operation according to a standard acceptance protocol. The amplifier is also tested using measurement equipment provided by ENMO. Finally, the entire system undergoes an extensive test to ensure proper functioning.
This maintenance is carried out by ENMO service engineers, trained and certified by LDS/B&K.
Spare parts
All service and replacement parts installed under the service agreement and preventive maintenance plans are genuine LDS spare parts from Brüel & Kjær. These parts are manufactured to strict tolerances and meet the original specifications of the manufacturer. Using non-original parts can have negative effects on system performance, lead to defects in more complex and expensive components, and void your warranty.
