In the world of “small” excavators, increasing demands are being placed on source noise and cabin noise. For one of our consultancy clients, we provided valuable insights using an acoustic camera.

By deploying the acoustic camera, we were able to identify various noise sources inside the cabin in real time. Additionally, measurements were taken outside the excavator to visualize the noise sources underneath the machine. This provided the R&D department with clear insights, allowing them to redesign certain support surfaces where necessary.
